The university's campuswide IT community is comprised of over 300 technical and computer support professionals in schools, colleges, departments, centers and institutes. This group meets quarterly for IT Community meetings and communicates primarily via the IT Community and the DeptComp email lists.
The next IT Community meetings are scheduled for:
- December 13, 2011 from 10:00-11:30 am in the EMU Fir Room
- January 10, 2012 from 2:00-3:30 pm in the Ford Alumni Center Ballroom
Note: Kees de Kluyver, Dean of the Lundquist College of Business, will be our guest speaker for this meeting.
The idea behind the IT Community group is to work collaboratively and cooperatively. To achieve that goal, please use the DeptComp list as a place to:
- share ideas, research and techniques for using technology at the university,
- announce new services and policies
- announce IT-related events, such as presentations,
- conferences, webinars, meetings and searches,
- communicate professionally, and
- ask for advice and assistance.
