How do I set up an account?
- You need your Duck ID to log in to email. For information see our Duck ID page.
What's my email address?
- Your email address is your Duck
ID username plus "@uoregon.edu", as in "jersmith@uoregon.edu"

Things to know about your account:
- It has a maxiumum storage capacity of
2GB
- It will not accept attached files larger
than 25MB
- Duck ID passwords expire once every 180 days

How to read email
- Webmail
The fastest way to get into your email is our webmail program, AlphaMail. For directions on how to use AlphaMail, see our AlphaMail instructions.
- Outlook, Thunderbird and Mac Mail
We also support several other email programs, such as Outlook, Thunderbird and Mac Mail. For setup instructions see Configuring Your Email Program.

Do I get to keep my account?
- How long you keep your account depends on your status. Students retain access for one year after the end of enrollment (beginning July, 2007). For other categories see the Resource Access Rules.
