IMAP, POP and SMTP Settings

• POP: pop.uoregon.edu
• IMAP: imap.uoregon.edu
• SMTP (outgoing mail): smtp.uoregon.edu

Security (SSL) Required
The University of Oregon requires secure connections (using SSL) to retrieve mail from UOregon servers. IMAP with SSL uses port 993 and POP with SSL uses port 995.

Traveling?
You can now use the university's outgoing mail (SMTP) server from anywhere on the internet! Set your SMTP server to "smtp.uoregon.edu", enable SSL and set the port to 587. Your username and password are your Duck ID.
