To configure your computer to dial in to the University of Oregon modem pool follow these steps:

1. Click the Start menu
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Network and Internet
4. Click Network and Sharing Center
5. Click Set up a connection or network
6. Click on Set up a dial-up connection and click the Next button
   
   
7. A list of modems will appear. Select your modem and click the Next button.
8. Enter the following information in the window that appears (below):
   • Enter the modem pool phone number, 225-2200, in the Dial-up phone number box
   • Type your UOregon email address in the User name box
   • Type your UOregon email password in the Password box
   • Enter some name, such as UOregon, in the Connection name box

Click the Connect button to connect to our modem pool.

To connect in the future:

1. Click the Start menu
2. Click Connect To
3. Select the modem connection you just created and click the Connect button
