Installing the VPN client

The VPN installer is available in two ways:

1. download from the web site password.uoregon.edu/vpn, and
2. on our Duckware CD

We recommend using the download if you have a fast network connection. You will receive the most up-to-date version of the VPN software.

1. Click the Start menu, then Programs, then Cisco Systems VPN Client and finally VPN Dialer
   
2. Click the Connect button
   
3. For Username and Password enter your Duck ID
4. You will see a "Welcome" message; click the OK button

You are now connected, and can use network related applications.

To disconnect, locate the padlock icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of your monitor) and double-click on it. You will see a "Disconnect" button in the window that appears; click on it to end your VPN session.
