This page explains how to configure Dreamweaver to connect to the University of Oregon web server. Dreamweaver version 2004MX v7 or newer is required.

To edit these settings, open the site you wish to configure, click the Advanced tab, then Remote Info from the list on the left. Next:

• Set Access to FTP
• Set FTP host to shell.uoregon.edu
• Set Host directory to public_html
• In the Login box enter the username of the account you are using
• In the Password box enter the account's password
• Click the Use passive FTP check box
• Click the Use Secure FTP (SFTP) check box
