Academic Services

Academic Services promotes the innovative use of technology by supporting researchers, faculty, staff and students in their teaching, learning and research. Core to our mission is helping people learn technologies that make a meaningful impact on research and learning.

We provide leadership, assistance and consultation for emerging technologies, site-licensed software, helpdesk services, classroom and technical support in open access labs and instructional labs, student project centers, and technology integration in learning space design.

We also work directly with researchers, faculty and staff to provide technology consultations on grant proposals, secure document storage and collaboration environments, and access to research software and services.

Our Web services team develops and  supports Web-based applications and hosting services for current UO students, faculty and staff.
