Doodle for Us Ducks

If trying to find a two-hour meeting time for 15 people is a common nightmare for you, then say hello to Doodle. If you already use the free version of Doodle, you will love the newly-available site license version.
Doodle is a web-based scheduling and polling service that is simple and effective. Set up a list of possible meeting times, send a link to the poll via e-mail to the participants, wait, then scan the results for the most favorable time to meet.
In March, 2010 the University of Oregon bought a Doodle site license. Doodle allows for an unlimited number of polls and participants, file uploads for each poll, and a variety of poll options. In addition to these standard features, the site license adds features that are not otherwise available. The university's Doodle license gives you the ability to gather street addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses. The university version also has a dashboard that lists polls you have created and participated in, and has no embedded advertisements.
Only university students, faculty, and staff can create Doodle polls using the university's site, but anyone can participate, making the tool very useful for scheduling meetings with people across the country or around the world.
For more information on the university's Doodle site, see UO Doodle or visit the Doodle site itself at uoregon.doodle.com.
