IT Policy Task Force Report Now Online

Andrew Bonamici and Jon Miyake gave a brief overview of the Information Technology Policy Task Force final report at the December 3 deptcomp meeting. The task force was appointed in fall 2006 to review standard categories of IT-related policy and procedure as identified by EDUCAUSE and other organizations. After a year of intensive study, it has made recommendations that affect a broad range of university issues, including data security, records management, and web policies.
