IM: The Newest Way to Get Support

MAY 2, 2008—The easiest way to connect using instant messaging (IM) is to visit http://micro.uoregon.edu/helpdesk.html. No special software is required; simply type your question in the bottom box in the chat section of that web page and hit the enter key.
Instant messaging is the newest way to get answers to hardware, software and account questions. Information Services also offers assistance via phone, email, web site and in-person.
The service is online Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
