Connecting to UO Secure is possible by running the standard setup process provided by the university, but there is also a way to connect to this network manually.

To set up the UO Secure wireless network manually on Mac OS X, follow these steps:

1. Make sure your Wi-Fi is turned on.

2. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, select the Wi-Fi icon.

3. If the Wi-Fi is turned off, select Turn Wi-Fi On. If the Wi-Fi is on, proceed to step 4.

4. In the dropdown menu, select Join Other Network...

5. A window will appear titled Find and Join a Wi-Fi network.

6. In the text field that says Network Name:, type UO Secure (This is case sensitive so make sure it is typed exactly as it appears here).

7. Where is says Security:, select the dropdown menu that is labeled as None.

8. In the dropdown menu that is displayed, select WPA2 Enterprise as the security type.

9. You will now be able to enter your DuckID username and password.
