Classroom Technology Support

The UO Libraries Center for Media and Educational Technologies (CMET) provides classroom design and equipment distribution services to support the instructional technology needs of the university community. We design and engineer classroom technology solutions to support a wide range of teaching styles and presentation requirements, consult with faculty members and departments on technology purchases, and maintain and repair installations throughout the UO campus. We also provide circulation and delivery of portable equipment to classrooms, and technology support to faculty and staff using our systems.

Reporting Classroom Problems

  • If the class is in progress, call 346-3091. Be ready to provide your name, the room number, and a description of the problem. We may be able to provide verbal directions to correct the problem. An equipment operator or repair technician will be dispatched immediately for those problems requiring further attention.
  • If the class has ended, please submit this Repair Request/Problem Reporting Form.  Alternatively, please call our main desk phone number: 541-346-3091. Depending on the nature of the problem, the time of day/day of week the problem is reported, repairs should be addressed or acknowledged within 24 business hours.
