Building on the success of its previous editions, the Education and Research Technology Forum will take place on October 12-14, 2011 in Mexico City.

The APRU Education and Research Technology Forum is now accepting proposals and abstracts.

We invite academics, practitioners, students, and all people interested in the use of technology to facilitate and leverage education and research, to share their work and experience, submitting proposals/abstracts for presentation or full papers for the ERT Forum 2011.

Important dates.
Proposals submission deadline: August 5, 2011
Notification of acceptance or rejection: August 19, 2011.

The ERT Forum themes are those that address the support of education and research through information and communication technologies, such as (but not restricted to):

● Mobile devices and ubiquitous computing
● Distance learning environments and experiences
● Web 2.0 and Social Networking.
● Digital libraries and Repositories
● Augmented Reality
● Security and Data protection
● Emerging technologies

Each paper will be presented in parallel thematic sessions of 30 minutes, questions included.

Joint proposals, preferably with one other colleague from an APRU member university, will be accepted. (For the list of APRU member universities, please go to

Abstracts should be sent in pdf format and should not exceed one page, including information about the authors.
