Qualtrics is a survey software available to all university students, faculty, and staff with valid DuckIDs. Easy enough for an intern but sophisticated enough for a PhD, Qualtrics helps you collect and analyze data. So if you are using Qualtrics software and want to take it to the next level, sign up for the session that fits your area of interest.

Frequently Asked Questions & their answers

What if I can’t come to all the sessions?
We don’t expect you to! Please register only for the sessions that will best meet your needs.

What’s the office hours / lunch session?
There will be no formal instruction. Students who are registered for one of the other sessions may come during these times to practice what they have learned, meet other UO Qualtrics users, and ask questions of the instructor not covered during the classes. Lunch is served so that students and the instructor may make the most out of the limited time we have together.

We are asking people to register so that we have a catering count.

What if I want to attend one or two advanced sessions, but cannot attend the beginning session?
You may meet the pre-requisite through self-study in advance of attending the advanced course(s). Here is what you should do in advance:

  1. Please watch the “Online Training Program” videos from the free five-step training program, available at
    http://www.qualtrics.com/university/researchsuite/
  2. Read the training materials for the “Basic Building” and “Distribution” topic areas available from the “Learn by Topic” area of the same page. You should be able to do just about everything under “Basic Building” as well as the “Basic Distribution” section located within the “Distributing” area.

I plan to come to office hours and lunch, but I have dietary restrictions.
Lunch will accommodate both omnivores and vegetarians. Contact Helen Chu if you have other allergies or still have questions.
