Using the eduroam Network While Traveling

eduroam is a secure wireless network service that allows UO faculty, staff, and students to use their Duck ID and password to access wireless networks when visiting other eduroam-participating institutions.

For a list of US eduroam participating institutions, see

For a list of international eduroam participating institutions, see

If you are traveling to an eduroam participating institution, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Please set up and test the eduroam network at UO before traveling
  • Some resources are only accessible on the UO Network; use a VPN connection to access those resources
  • For support, contact the Technology Service Desk

For instructions on how to install and configure the eduroam network, see Connecting to the eduroam Network.
