Connecting to eduroam: Windows 7

To connect to the eduroam network at UO, follow the steps below. This process uses a utility called XpressConnect, which will properly set up your device.

1. Connect to the 'uowireless' network.

2. Navigate in your web browser to http://wireless.uoregon.edu

3. Read through the End-User License Agreement. Click the check-box indicating acknowledgment of the License Agreement and click Start.

To connect to the eduroam network at UO, follow the steps below. This process uses a utility called XpressConnect, which will properly set up your device.

1. Connect to the 'uowireless' network.

2. Navigate in your web browser to http://wireless.uoregon.edu

3. Read through the End-User License Agreement. Click the check-box indicating acknowledgment of the License Agreement and click Start.

4. Begin the installation process by clicking the Install button. If a third party browser is being used (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, etc...) you may have to download the installer and run it from the location it was saved to.

5. If you are prompted to run XpressConnect by Internet Explorer, click the Install button to proceed.

6. Once XpressConnect loads, select to connect to eduroam and click Continue.

7. Now there will be a prompt asking for your username and password. Use your DuckID and Password then click Continue.

8. The connection process should be automated. It will take a matter of seconds, after which the following confirmation page should show.
