On Friday, December 19, Information Services updated the SSL certificates associated with the UO Secure wireless network.

To complete this upgrade, you may need to re-enter your Duck ID and password when prompted by your laptop, tablet, or phone.

If you aren't prompted for your username and password, or you cannot connect to UO Secure, please use the following procedure:

  1. Connect to "uowireless"
  2. Enter your DuckID and password when prompted
  3. Open a browser and go to http://wireless.uoregon.edu
  4. Step through the installer, answering prompts along the way

Once complete, the installer should move the device from "uowireless" to "UO Secure" automatically.

If you are a Windows 7 or Windows 8 user and you're still unable to connect to UO Secure after taking the above steps, please use the alternate installer at http://wireless.uoregon.edu/beta/.

If you need help, please contact the Information Services Technology Service Desk at 541-346-HELP or techdesk@uoregon.edu.
