On Wednesday, Sept. 2, the UO "Web Login Service" page got a new look.

This is the login page that UO faculty, staff, and students see when accessing many UO services and websites, including Canvas, UO Blogs, the Career Center's DuckConnect service, and others, including this website (it.uoregon.edu).

Some people may know it as the Shibboleth login page or UO single sign-on page. The URL varies but always begins with "https://shibboleth.uoregon.edu".

The top image to the right shows the new design for the login page, which matches the recent redesign of the UO homepage.

In addition, the title of the login page has changed from "Web Login Service" to "Login Required."

The login service continues to function just as it did previously.

The bottom image to the right shows the old UO Web Login Service page.

If you have any questions about this change, or if you ever feel unsure about the legitimacy of a page that asks for your UO credentials, please contact the Technology Service Desk.
