Emergency service outage on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 5am


Update: This work was completed around 7:30am on November 8.


Some key services will be unavailable this Sunday, November 8, between 5:00am and 10:00am PST while Information Services performs emergency work.

Information Services staff are working closely with technical staff to coordinate work and reduce impact where possible.

The following services will be unavailable on November 8 between 5am and 10am:

  • Banner
  • Data Warehouse
  • Document imaging
  • Duck ID
  • Email for students
  • Email lists
  • IDR
  • IT and IS websites, including software downloads from the IT website
  • UO Docs
  • Web hosting, including the UO home page and the Admissions website

During the work, the status of affected services will be posted at Services that are accessed via web browser will also display a "website is unavailable due to maintenance" message.

Information Services is performing this emergency work to prevent a broad, unplanned outage that would be much more likely to occur if no action is taken.
