UO Secure is a network that allows users to authenticate once and bypass future authentications.

These instructions are intended for Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6 although the process may work with older versions.

1. If on the UO campus, connect to the UOWIRELESS network.

2. In Safari, Firefox, or Chrome go to http://wireless.uoregon.edu

3. Agree to the EULA and click start.

4. If using Safari you will be asked to select your version of OSX then install the network profile, configure it with your DuckID and password, then connect to UO Secure. In Chrome and Frirefox allow XpressConnect to have access to your computer. You may need to manually run the java applet if asked.

5. A new window will appear asking for your DuckID and Password. This is the same as what you use to login to your UO email.

6. Next, enter your computer's password in the window that appears to authenticate the changes made.

7. Your computer should then go through an automated process and finish.

You should now be connected to UO Secure.
