Tim Spofford, who retired this year as senior staff attorney and technology project manager for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights, will talk at the University of Oregon Nov. 1 about access to technology by people with disabilities.

The lecture will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Gumwood Room at the Erb Memorial Union. It will focus on the functional and legal importance of ensuring that university technology such as web pages and applications can be accessed by those with disabilities.
