Obtaining Software

  • For University-owned computers: Free — Simply download the appropriate file(s) at the bottom of this page.
  • For personally owned computers: Discounted rates — Contact your department’s technical support administrator or the UO site license administrator (sitelisn@uoregon.edu) to obtain a code through the Home Use Program (HUP). This program enables you to purchase a licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2013 for Windows (Office Professional Plus 2013) or Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac at the significantly discounted price of $9.95. You may obtain the software as a download or on DVD. If your employment with the University ends, you must discontinue use of the HUP software and uninstall it from your personal computer. Prices and software versions are subject to change.

Licensing and Restrictions

  • This software's use restrictions are governed by the Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (Microsoft Campus Agreement) for 2015.
  • Faculty, staff, and GTFs are authorized to use this software on University-owned computers at no charge.
  • Students will not be able to download this software from the IT site unless they have GTF status.
  • Faculty, staff, and GTFs are authorized to use this software on personally owned computers at discounted rates under the Home Use Program (see "Obtaining Software" above).
