Obtaining Software

Licensing and Restrictions

  • This software's use restrictions are governed by the Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (Microsoft Campus Agreement) for 2015.
  • Faculty, staff, and students are authorized to use this software on University-owned and personally owned devices.
  • Each user may install the software on up to 5 laptop and/or desktop computers, plus 5 tablets, plus 5 phones.
  • Connecting each device to the Internet at least once every 30 days is necessary to maintain full functionality of the installed software. If a device goes offline for more than 30 days, the software enters a "reduced functionality mode" that restricts users to viewing and printing documents (document editing and creation are disabled). Full functionality can be restored by reconnecting the device to the Internet and letting Microsoft's Activation and Validation Service reactivate the installation.
