Members of the UO community can log into DuckWeb to register for the UOAlert! text notification system. The purpose of the UO Alert! system is to allow students, faculty and staff to receive information via text message about critical campus safety issues.

To participate in UO Alert! text notification:

  1. Log into DuckWeb
  2. Click “Personal Information”
  3. Click the “Enter/Update Emergency Alert Phone” link
  4. Enter your text-enabled cell phone number, including area code and then click “Submit”

Note: university-issued phones are not automatically entered into the system.
